Mr. Prabin Chitrakar resident of Kathmandu, Nepal has two and half decades of involvement in the social and development sector. He has experience in Mine Action, Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR), Education, Research, Studies, and Monitoring and Evaluation. With a dedicated focus on Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) for over 15 years, he has led and contributed to a wide range of evaluations, research studies, and capacity-building initiatives for the Government of Nepal, UN agencies, and international and national NGOs.
Mr. Chitrakar has been playing an active role in enhancing the Evaluation capacity, knowledge development, quality evaluation practices, and in promoting Indigenous Evaluation Practices in Nepal.
Mr. Chitrakar was the founding Treasurer of the Community of Evaluators – Nepal (CoE-Nepal) in 2011 and since then has been actively involved in the organization’s activities. He is a member of the Community of Evaluators South Asia (COE SA); and was one of the founder members and current member of the International Organization for Collaborative Outcome Management (IOCOM). Mr. Chitrakar holds a Master’s Degree in Sociology.
