Community of Evaluators released its first Newsletter in November 2014. The Newsletter is published electronically is shared via its website and online social media.
In the Newsletter:
A 15 member Parliamentarian Forum was formed on 21 August 2014 under the leadership of Hon. Ananda Prasad Pokharel. The forum was formed in a meeting entitled “An interaction program on Evaluation in Nepal: Current situation and Challenges” that was jointly organized by Community of Evaluators – South Asia, Community of evaluators – Nepal and Parliamentarian Forum on Development Evaluation in South Asia under the project “Innovative Challenge 3” launched by International Evaluation Partnership Initiative (EvalPartners) and supported through international Organization for Cooperation in Evaluation (IOCE). The forum will be helpful to develop the conducive policy environment for building the evaluation field for better planning and policy making.
Dr. Ganapati Ojha, the Chairperson of the Community of Evaluators-Nepal presented an overview of the Evaluation Environment in Nepal.
