Workshop on Code of Conduct, Training Needs and VNR Reporting Process

It is our privilege to share that the Community of Evaluators Nepal (CoE-Nepal) has been assigned to pilot a project entitled ‘Flagship 1- Strengthening National Evaluation System” aligned with National Evaluation Action Plan 2016-2020, developed jointly by the National Planning Commission (NPC), UN agencies and Volunteer Organization for Professional Evaluators (VoPEs), with the support from International Organization For Cooperation In Evaluation (IOCE), Canada. The main aim of the project is to strengthen the national evaluation systems for the SDGs, by providing support in enhancing the institutional and individual capacity of Parliamentarians, GoN/NPC, CSO, and VOPEs, build the capacity of national evaluation partners and stakeholders using the National Evaluation guidelines and SDG VNR guidelines and support the national evaluation partners in preparing Nepal VNR while ensuring alignment between the SDG and the NPC national objectives and targets.

In this context, CoE-Nepal organized a workshop to discuss the Code of Conduct, Training Module for basic courses to advanced courses, and VNR Reporting Process on 31st May 2019, Kathmandu, Nepal.
